Valves manufacturers and end users are facing increasingly rigorous applications, which require the product to be tested in order to meet quality requirements.

The most common tests on valves are: Body test; Test with the valve fully open or fully closed; Backseal test; Pressure applied inside the valve body; Pressure applied inside the valve body with backseal.

MAGRAL specializes in the design and manufacture of benches for testing valves, meeting the most varied customer requirements.

Fixtures on the workbench can be: Mechanical manual / Hydraulic manual or automatic.

The basic assembly of the MAGRAL test bench consists of:

  • Hydropneumatic pump;

  • Pressure control through manometer;

  • Valve fixing bench;

  • Panel with instrumentation and valves;

  • Mechanical protections;

  • HMI (data acquisition).

  • Cycling Tests with Actuators;

  • Testing with Subsea Requirements;

  • Opening pressure using the “POP” test system;

  • Leak test at 90-95% of set pressure;

  • Nitrogen Tests;

  • Fatigue Tests;

  • Pressure applied to each side of closed valve.
